We are privileged this month to have ELLEN KALISH, the founder and head of the
RAVENSBEARD WILDLIFE CENTER,
who has graciously agreed to do a program for us and bring her owls, hawks and falcons for us all of us to see.
She will teach us all about them and how they came to be living at Ravensbeard. Each bird has a separate story
and each bird is assiduously cared for with the utmost love and determination to either be set free or, if it cannot,
have a home where it is as happy and healthy as possible. Ellen has a profound knowledge of the wild birds of our
area of the country and she does everything she can to keep the birds that cannot be set free in a verycomfortable
captivity where its contentment and health is the primary concern.
All of Ellen's birds are healthy. PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY PET BIRDS TO THIS MEETING.Be Our meeting is in our meeting room at 20 Crystal St., Monticello. The meeting will start at 7:00 and our program
will begin at 7:30.
